2024 Voter Guides

Election Day is Tuesday, Nov. 5. MPR News has compiled voter guides for races happening across Minnesota. Our newsroom reached out to all of the candidates, providing a three-question survey for them to fill out to inform voters about who they are and their priorities if elected.

Big Stone County has three commissioner races, three soil and water supervisor races and two school board races on the ballot in 2024. Cities and townships in Big Stone County also have a number of municipal races.
Benton County has three commissioner races, three soil and water supervisor races and two school board races on the ballot in 2024. Cities and townships in Benton County also have a number of municipal races.
Beltrami County has three commissioner races, two soil and water supervisor races and four school board races on the ballot in 2024. Cities and townships in Beltrami County also have a number of municipal races.
State Senate: District 45
State Senate District 45 is holding a special election to fill the vacancy left by Sen. Kelly Morrison, who resigned to run for Congress in Minnesota’s 3rd District. The candidates running in the general election are Ann Johnson Stewart, DFL, and Kathleen Fowke, Republican.
U.S. House: District 8
Minnesota’s 8th Congressional District candidates running in the general election include incumbent U.S. Rep. Pete Stauber, Republican, and Jen Schultz, Democrat.
U.S. House: District 7
Minnesota’s 7th Congressional District candidates running in the general election include incumbent U.S. Rep. Michelle Fischbach, Republican, and John Peters, Democrat.
U.S. House: District 6
Minnesota’s 6th Congressional District candidates running in the general election include incumbent U.S. Rep. Tom Emmer, Republican, and Jeanne Hendricks, Democrat.
