Rainfall needed for Minnesota. Central Europe experiencing flooding
Minnesota has experienced a very dry start to September, but forecast models suggest several chances for rain with some areas of the state potentially receiving significant amounts. Meanwhile, Storm Boris in central Europe continues to bring record-breaking rainfall.
Continued above-normal temperatures. Storm chances north Monday, Tuesday
Scattered showers and storms will be possible in northern Minnesota Monday into Tuesday near a frontal boundary. Southern Minnesota will be very warm and muggy. Statewide rain chances increase later in the week. 
Mild and muggy for mid-September
The words muggy and sticky are back in the forecast. Dew points will be in the lower to mid-60s with 80-degree temperatures. A shift in the weather pattern will bring multiple chances for rain Wednesday through the weekend.
Warm, sunny Sunday with breezy south winds
We’re looking at another week of similar temperatures, with 80s continuing. Expect multiple chances for showers throughout the week, but also plenty of sunshine. More typical seasonal temperatures are expected to return by next weekend.
Clearing skies Saturday night; sunshine and 80s return
Cloud cover and rain showers push eastward for Saturday night. Clearing skies will give way to sunshine for Sunday as high temperatures return to the 80s. A repeated pattern of above-average temperatures continue for the work week.
Rain chances for Saturday lead to cooler, cloudy forecast
The remnants of Hurricane Francine will bring increased cloud cover and moisture. Isolated showers or even scattered rain are likely. Cooler temperatures will accompany this weather, so be prepared for a dip in the warmth compared to recent days.
