During Minnesota’s primary on Aug. 13, voters determined which Democratic and Republican candidates will appear on the ballot for the general election in November. MPR News reached out to all of the candidates in the primary, providing a three-question survey for them to fill out and informing voters about who they are and their priorities if elected. Visit us when early voting begins Sept. 20 for our General Election version of this guide.

The Minnesota House of Representatives District 28A candidates running for the GOP primary election are the incumbent Brian Johnson and Jimmy Gordon. The DFL primary election candidate is Tim Dummer.
The Minnesota House of Representatives District 36B candidates running for the DFL primary election are the incumbent Brion Curran and T.J. Malaskee. The GOP primary election candidate is Patty Bradway.
The Minnesota House of Representatives District 38A candidates running for the DFL primary election are Huldah Hiltsley and Wynfred Russell. The GOP primary election candidates are Yelena Kurdyumova and Brad Olson. The seat is currently held by DFL Representative Michael Nelson.
The Minnesota House of Representatives District 38B candidate running for the DFL primary election is the incumbent Samantha Vang. The GOP primary election candidates are Robert Marvin and Chris Chubb.
The Minnesota House of Representatives District 41A candidates running for the GOP primary election are Wayne Johnson and Grayson McNew. The DFL primary election candidate is Lucia Wroblewski. The seat is currently held by GOP Representative Mark Wiens.
The Minnesota House of Representatives District 61A candidates running for the DFL primary election are Will Stancil, Katie Jones and Isabel Rolfes. The seat is currently held by DFL Representative Frank Hornstein. There is no primary election in 61A for the GOP.
The Minnesota House of Representatives District 67B candidate running for the DFL primary election is the incumbent Jay Xiong. The GOP primary election candidates are Sharon Anderson and AJ Piehal.
